ファイザー社のコクシジウム予防・治療薬。

コクシジウム症とは主に幼犬や子猫が罹患するコクシジウム原虫の感染によって引き起こされる寄生虫感染症です。

症状としては下痢や脱水、血便が見られ成長不良や衰弱の原因になります。

＜ヨーロッパ製＞

（使用法）

子犬：生後３～４週で体重１ｋｇあたり10~20mg(0.2~0.4ml)を１日１回投与。

子猫：生後３～５週で体重１ｋｇあたり10~20mg(0.2~0.4ml)を１日回投与。

子豚：生後３～５日で体重1kgあたり20mg(0.4ml)を１日１回投与。

子牛：生後３～５日で体重1kgあたり15mg、おおよそ3ml/10kgを１日１回投与。

ACTIVE SUBSTANCE

1 ml contains: toltrazuril 50 mg

Excipients: sodium benzoate (E211); sodium propionate (E281).

TYPES OF ANIMALS WHICH ARE INTENDED

Pigs, piglets, sheep, calves and lambs.

THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS

Pigs, piglets: for the prophylaxis and treatment of coccidiosis in new-born piglets on farms with a proven history of coccidiosis caused by Isospora suis.

Sheep and lambs: for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis and the reduction of morbidity in sheep in farms with a proven history of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria crandallis and Eimeria ovinoidaliss.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not use in sheep from which milk is produced for human consumption.

DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE (S) AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION

Shake well before use. 0.4 ml oral suspension per kg of body weight.

Each animal should be treated with a single oral dose of 20 mg toltrazuril / kg body weight corresponding to 0.4 ml of Baycox 5% oral suspension per kg of body weight.

ADVICE ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION

Pigs: Pigs should be treated at 3-5 days of age.

Sheep: In order to achieve the best result, the lambs should be treated before the expected appearance of the clinical signs, ie. in the preperation period.

Calves: Each animal should be treated with a single oral dose of 15 mg toltrazuril / kg of body weight,

which corresponds to 3.0 ml of oral suspension per 10 kg of body weight.

The finished oral suspension should be well shaken before use.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

Pigs: meat and internal organs - 77 days.

Sheep: meat and offal - 42 days.

Calves: Calves: Meat and offal - 63 days.

It is not authorized for use in sheep from which milk is produced for human consumption.
